Despite the consensus weather forecasts calling for a misty, rainy gray day, the outdoor wedding ceremony for Emmy and Brandon could not have been more picture perfect. The clouds were consistently dissipating all day and by the time the ceremony commenced just outside the dining patio of Indian Hills Country Club; it was a beautiful sunny evening.

As the guests were being seated, they were treated the beautiful music of the string trio, The Oread String.  On cue, the trio moved to a wedding march to accompany the procession of the bridesmaids followed by the beautiful bride and her father. The officiant for the ceremony was the father of the groom who walked the couple through their sacred vows.  After the ceremony was completed, the guests enjoyed an intimate cocktail reception on the patio.

Next, at the appointed time, the ballroom doors were opened signaling to the guests it was time for the evening to commence inside.  Once the guests were seated, father of the bride Mike Allen took the microphone and made the bridal party introductions.

After Emmy and Brandon were announced for the second time as husband and wife, they proceeded to the center of the dance floor to cut their beautifully monogrammed wedding cake accented with a picture of their beloved dog Coconut. The traditional champagne toast was celebrated and now it was time for dinner to be served.

As everyone was enjoying their dinner, it was time for the evening’s events to begin. The father of the bride, Mike Allen again took center stage to give a memorable speech and toast. The microphone was then passed to the bride’s sisters Sarah and Greta who gave a very heartfelt maid of honors toast.  The speeches were then concluded with the groom’s brother and best man making his toast.  Now it was time for the father and daughter dance, followed by the traditional mother and son dance. The newly married bride and groom then had their official first dance as husband and wife.  The DJ then announced for all guests to join the bride and groom onto to the dance floor to dance the night away listening to the tunes chosen by DJ Craig, of Elite Sounds.  The evening’s festivities were concluded with a surprise sparkler send off for the bride and groom on the front drive of Indian Hills.
