The Nuptial Mass uniting Elizabeth Renee’ Reazin and David King Bloner in the Sacrement of Holy Matrimony was held on December 10, 2022, at Church of the Nativity in Leawood, Kansas.

Promptly at 2:00pm the ceremony began with the procession of the immediate family, followed by the wedding party. Father Mike Hawken presided over the Nuptial Mass. As the congregation rose in anticipation for the presentation of the bride, Miss Elizabeth Reazin was escorted down the aisle by her father Mr. Troy Reazin. During the Mass, the couple paid tribute to the Blessed Mother with fragrant nosegay roses. When the Nuptial Mass concluded, Father Hawken presented for the first time, Mr. & Mrs. David Bloner to the congregation. The newlyweds took a few pictures with family and their wedding party at the altar before boarding a bus to take pictures at notable sites in Kansas City.

The Three Amigo’s, a local mariachi band, heartily greeted the guests as they begin arriving at 5:30pm for the cocktail reception at The Abbott event venue in downtown Kansas City. As the cocktail reception was winding down, the guests were asked to begin making their way to their seats to begin the evening’s festivities. The wedding party was introduced followed by the newlyweds Mr. & Mrs. David Bloner. The bride and groom took their spot onto the center of the dance floor where they cut their beautiful cake with tiers decorated with flowers that complimented the bridal parties’ bouquets. Next the couple raised their champagne flutes for a traditional wedding toast. The bride’s father Troy Reazin welcomed family and friends to this beautiful reception. Father Mike Hawkin gave a very personal prayer for the newlyweds and their attending guests.

After the last table was being served their entrée’ by Brancato’s Catering, it was time to bring up the bride’s father to begin the speeches. His heartfelt speech was followed by the Maid of Honor and Best Man speeches. At last, it was time to watch the bride and her father have their traditional dance followed by the groom and his beautiful mother having their solo dance. The groom then twirled his bride onto the dance floor to have their first dance. Once their dance had concluded, the band leader, Anthony Saunders invited all the guests to join the couple onto the dance floor.

There was a brief pause in the festivities as the bride tossed her bouquet toss to the tune of “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” by Beyoncé. Each single women gathered around anticipating receiving the bouquet to be the next “lady in waiting”.

As the guests were enjoying dancing to the tunes performed by the band Lost Wax, they were treated to tasty cheeseburgers and fries from Whataburger as the late-night snack to get refueled. This was also a special surprise for the groom because this fast-food restaurant chain is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where the groom and his family reside.

Finally, it was time to begin winding down this beautiful wintery wedding reception by having each guests make their way outside where they were handed three-foot sparklers to give the newlyweds a sparkling send off as they begin their “happily ever after!”
