Steeped in a rich history and tradition, Oakwood Country Club in Kansas City; www.oakwoodcountryclub.org was the chosen site for Marissa and Zachary’s wedding ceremony and reception. The lower patio overlooking the first tee was transformed into a lovely ceremony setting as Marissa and Zachary to exchange their vows before family and friends on a sunny Friday evening.
Once the ceremony was over it was time for the guests to make their way to the upper patio for a cocktail reception and a beautiful view of the prestigious 18 hole golf course. The guests mingled about enjoying delicious appetizers and sipping on their chosen cocktail.
As the sun was setting it was time for the guests to move into the beautiful ballroom for dinning and dancing. The bridal party were introduced into the ballroom and made their way over the the head table to await the introduction of the bride and groom. The newly married couple came out onto a balcony high above the ballroom to be introduced to their guests for the second time as Dr. & Mrs. Zachary Denton. The newlyweds then made their way to the center of the ballroom to cut their wedding cake and have a champagne toast for all to see.
The guests were then treated to an exceptional Italian style buffet, while enjoying the sounds of singing accompanied by an acoustic guitar. As the guests were still dinning, it was time to begin the evening’s events. Dr. John Gatti took center stage to deliver is “father of the bride” speech, followed by a dance with his beautiful daughter. The groom and his mother took over the dance floor to have their traditional mother and son dance. Then it was time for Marissa and Zachary to have their first dance as husband and wife. The guests then joined the bride and groom onto the dance floor to dance into the night to their favorite tunes.

Before you knew it, the gorgeous evening was coming to a close, but not before the spectacular sparkler send off for Marissa and Zachary as they drove away in their classic royal blue corvette into the night.
